Mt Eden homes and what they need

Mt Eden's character villas and bungalows are much loved, but older homes often need work to meet the Healthy Homes Standards: underfloor insulation, draught stopping around old sash windows and doors, and heat pumps sized for high ceilings.

There's also a large market for smaller homes. One-bedroom flats had a median of $420 a week and one-bedroom apartments $460. Three-bedroom houses had a median of $780, and four-bedroom homes $999.
