Papatoetoe homes and what they need
Papatoetoe has a big market for flats and units as well as houses, with more than 700 two-bedroom flats let at a median of $500 a week. Many are in blocks of older units, where shared driveways, fences and maintenance need clear arrangements.
The houses are mostly 1950s to 1970s, and commonly need the same Healthy Homes work: insulation, moisture barriers, extractor fans and heating sized for the living area.
